I’ve implemented your style of allowance since the start of August and we are loving it. I’ve actually been surprised how into saving they are. I started an XP system for their chores because I wanted the mindset we all contribute because we all live here and not be tied to getting money. Their XP gets them experiences instead of toys or prizes. I’m curious how you handle chores and responsibilities in your home

Something we thought about adding is performance reviews either quarterly or twice a year. Then depending on my son grades and behavior he gets a bonus. Two things give him something to maybe look forward to. And as an adult I still struggle with is performance reviews. In my 15+ years of working I got one bad review (this was at the beginning of my career and I was still learning the job) and now I am so nervous when going to them. Thought maybe this would help him in the future 😁
