Hey Riece! The way you structured the whole thing is honestly masterful—you made a complex topic feel super relatable and kept my attention the whole time. 👏 Dropped a quick note earlier, no rush! 😊

I would not spend the $80 on this test if your goal is to find actual food sensitivities, vitamin deficiencies, gut problems, or allergies. The biggest issue is the testing method. This product uses a few strands of hair, no follicle or blood, and a proprietary “bioenergetic wellness” process to generate results for 1,000+ items. The company itself now explicitly says its process cannot identify allergies, clinical food intolerances, vitamin deficiencies, or medical conditions and describes the results as non-diagnostic “wellness” information. More importantly, the medical evidence does not support hair testing for this purpose. The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology specifically lists hair analysis as an unproven test that should not be used to evaluate food allergy, and a peer-reviewed review in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice reports that hair analysis lacks scientific evidence as a diagnostic method for food allergy or intolerance. There is also a significant disconnect in the packaging. It prominently advertises “Food Sensitivity, Vitamins & Gut Health Wellness Test” and “1000+ items,” which can certainly sound like it is testing what your body is sensitive or deficient in. But the company's own current documentation says the test isn't measuring biological chemistry and cannot determine clinical deficiencies or intolerances.
