Finally someone says it. This is how my wife and I do it. I love my food hot and eat very quickly. So she handles the baby. Then she can take her time while I feed the baby and entertain her. I have definitely gotten looks when she hasn’t touched her food and I’m shoveling it in. Love this cause this is the reality of it

My husband asks me all the time ‘are you sure you don’t want to eat first’ like honey my food will still be hot by the time you’re done lol I’ll get the baby settled first and then eat when you’re done

I let my wife eat first because i know that food is gonna be gone in 20 seconds and then pass our daughter to her so I can eat slow without worrying ill have to race my daughter to my own meal
