Look around the parking lot where ever you go in that Lumina. You’ll see $80,000 cars and trucks parked everywhere. You all made it to the same spot. That’s all that matters. None of you walked, rode a bike, or took a bus. You all drove there. The Lumina is doing its job. Who cares what anyone thinks

I am a cyber defense anaylst and I drive a 07 sequioa great condition, no bluetooth but I have a 6 disc CD player and cassette player, I have owned it since brand new. 220K and I will drive this mfr until the frame is dust. haha I refuse to have a new car for social media.

You’ve got it nailed. Worst place to put your money. My typical process is to find a 3 year lease return (all the kinks worked out, has to be maintained and most depreciation worked down) drive it for at least another 15 years (buying with cash or pay off in a year), rinse and repeat.

I make around 90k a year after tax and I drive a 20 year old truck with a cracked dash and an exhaust leak. I used to drive a lifted 4x4 with heated leather seats and apple CarPlay. Sometimes life happens and you’re reminded of how fast 800 dollars a month catches up with you
