Thank you for your insight! I do think that people using the word fat phobic is a tad bit inaccurate because I don’t think that it’s anybody is scared. I think they have a prejudice.

i mean, i’ve struggled heavily with my weight. when i started gaining weight my mom would embarrass me in front of my other family members and i would never come out of my room. i had some friends who pushed me to the side because i gained weight. it’s awful. then i lost the weight and now im flooded with compliments. and it hurts.

Yup, my mom still recalls her aunts saying mean things to her. Also, many of the trolls in her comments are, unfortunately, parents themselves.
