@thedaniellehouston: Full-time Content Creator now. 🎬✨ This month I officially made the leap, and this past week I signed my first 5 brand deals. Still can’t believe it’s real. Here’s what led up to this: I was one of over 400,000 Black women laid off from jobs, & It affected me back in January 2025. After that came more than a year of applications, interviews, and rejections that really wore on me. At some point I got tired of waiting to be chosen and decided to just bet on myself. So I took the thing I loved doing anyway and made it my job. It was time to write my own story and say yes to myself.
