They’re not teaching kids math or science. When the bell rang we all took our seats and opened our books, back in my day and even when my kids were in school. It wasn’t that long ago. My kids were in school and it was like how I went to school and then overnight school became a joke. We need to get back to normal. I know a lot of people that took their kids out of school a long time ago right at the beginning of the Biden administration and no, none of them are going back.

I cyber school my 6 year old. Not 100% because of this but because she has severe adhd and is mixed. She was more less pushed out of the school even though they didn’t follow the IEP plan that was created by ME her MOTHER! But this makes me want to keep her cyber/home schooled forever!

Hello Meghan! I would like to point out this is very appropriate in the learning process of school :)! As someone who’s gone through sociology, we learn things are okay, or not okay because of ours family, teachers, peers, etc! This is what helps children grow into smart, respectful individuals. When someone isn’t taught about something in school, there’s a more likely chance that they’ll end up being very disrespectful towards the thing that was supposed to be taught. Not to mention, the students are middle/high schoolers I believe, which is the correct time for them to learn such things. LGBTQ+ has been around forever. It’s nothing strange, or unusual. Some religions have Gods depicted as gay, or trans. Not to mention, there’s big historical events that weren’t brought up in school because people, like you, didn’t want their children taught about it. Take the AIDS epidemic, where 40 million people died. Thats a lot of people, and yet, I haven’t met anyone that was taught about it in school. What about how we barely talk about the tip of the iceberg on slavery? We talk about the bare minimum, just so we know never to make such a mistake again. Most people never learned that people would use human skin as leather. Specifically, African/African American’s skin. Some schools want to stop talking about slavery entirely, most likely because of the racism that’s still present today. Which, are present because we weren’t taught enough about how Black Lives Matter, or how LGBTQ+ matters as well, Feminism too. I’d do a big researching spree on your part, so that you can find out things you didn’t know about in history. I’d also like to state that teaching your kids about LGBTQ+ does not make them gay or trans, that doesn’t make sense. If your child was already gay, and just didn’t understand it, then this is helping them figure themselves out. They should have that right to figure it out themselves. If you oppress it, that child is more prone to being depressed, suicidal, etc. I for one believe that, instead of these stupid topics, we should be talking about the Shock Gloves that they would love to use in our schools. Stay respectful, and learn :)
