I think the take on the hand represents the way modern media doesn’t allow us to reconnect with reality, the same way people like to reflect on the ideation of “touching grass”, thus resulting the “no touching” aspect on the floor. Since floor isn’t grass. I find this metaphor really beautifully executed, especially by how the artist chose to colour the floor and the hand, the texture on the floor imitating the reality that the hand, or us, couldn’t grasp either. Incredible work. 20/10.
