People have a short memory. In 2025 he didn't start hitting until mid to late June hence why he only got 23 home runs and 86 RBIs. But because of the playoffs people ignored these stats. And now you're surprised that he's only got seven home runs and 46 RBIs after 126 games.

It’s clearly an issue of him playing through injury and other players’ injuries causing him to lose protection in the lineup. Look at Bautista’s best year, he had Vernon Wells hitting right behind him, look at WAMCO. Protection helps! He will be back
