@chicagos.mayor: There is a direct line between federal dollars that are taken out of Black communities and used to pay for bombing brown and Black people around the globe. We need to demand that leaders in both parties stop funding endless wars abroad and use that money for education and violence intervention programs in our communities. @jamalbryant1

Thank you, Mr. Mayor! As a previous resident of Chicago…I hope divert funding from social programs to early entrepreneurial tracks for Black youth! You’re on the right track track but Black entrepreneurship would solve most of west Chicago issues. Social work services are great but too costly and not as effective. Help open up Black owned small stores…bodegas like NYC.

Why do teens have to deal with sheriffs on the bus during schools time. Every family is not in a good standing to pay the fire everyday ik bc I grew up like that. A kid will get locked up or in trouble bc of a fair they might be too poor to pay everyday all . That doesn’t make since Chicago supposed to be where ppl can be peaceful a big city n ik Chicago make more than enough to have free buses for teens and kid like nyc

Mayor Brandon Johnson is a good guy. He spoke up and he deserves credit for it. Chicago is at least a world class city if not one of the best in the world. It has many challenges but nothing that can't be fixed. it will take everyone to focus more on helping lift each other up; instead of tearing each other down.

Chicago Mayor is highkey one of the most thankless positions in this country. Nobody is ever happy no matter you do. Mamdani is another example of people complaining just to complain. And people pretend to have a better understanding of what this city needs than the person helping run it.
