The vet clinic I use to work at had motion sensor lights in our exam rooms and sometimes they would turn off and the clients would deadass just sit in the dark until I came in to see them

One time I brought a patient into a room, took their vitals, & said “ok the dr will be in shortly” & shut off the light & closed the door.. the patient sat in the dark till the doctor came in😭

Glad you guys could laugh about it, but this happened to me at the OBGYN 😭 I waited so long that the motion-sensor lights turned off, and I just sat there naked in the dark until the doctor walked in and triggered them back on. We both lost it 😂

I was having an ultrasound done one time and when the doctor asked to have the lights dimmed the student shut every light off in the room LMAO, It was pitch black and all you could hear was the Drs. heavy sigh as he flicked his flashlight on🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

when i first started working as a vet assistant i accidentally kept turning the lights off when i left rooms after getting a history because i was nervouse. I did it 3 times on the same person once and they didn’t say anything.

We have motion sensor lights that go off every 15 mins, most of our patients are 80+ and they really just sit there in the dark and wait for the doctor to come in and trigger the lights again
