Natural Immunity is great. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just develop natural immunity without losing hundreds of thousands possibly millions of at risk folks. (I know the OP is not advocating against the vaccine, I just wish the anti-vac crowd read enough to know too)

I’m immunocompromised and *had* a mostly dormant autoimmune disorder… until I got Covid in 2020. Now I’ve been battling constant illness and flare ups for the last 6 years

natural immunity is usually better but not everybody can develop it without risking their lives or getting life altering consequences. And if others are doing, they can potentially put someone else at risk. I got COVID multiple times, no natural immunity whatsoever but I'm grateful for the vaccine

I got shingles during the height of the pandemic. I hadn’t had Covid yet. Now anytime I get my Covid or flu vaccine booster, the area on my body where I had the shingles hurts. Is that an activation of the shingles virus again?

I never got Strep in my whole entire life, even after trying to get it just to get out of school like my friends, but I got it TWICE within 6 months of getting COVID.

Natural immunity can be better or worse - more often worse. It varies too much though be relied upon. But also, the effects of Covid-19 were much worse overall too. Risk/reward ratio favors getting the vaccine.

Me vaccinated, partner at the time I got sick unvaxed. We had the exact same experience when we got Covid.

I still don't understand how COVID works. Like yeah, I put in the time to do the research when we were in lockdown, but whilst my family were suffering with it, I only ended up with mild cold symptoms. It came through our house multiple times but I just never got too bad with it. Not vaccinated either (It was near impossible to get vaccinated under the NHS in the position I was in). And I have a notoriously weak immune system when it comes to anything else too. Can anyone explain that BC I honestly don't get it
