They’re not supposed to - the other books were complete on their own, so solid colors. These books are parts of one big book/story. I also think it’s important that 6 has bones and has pink - the home carver was introduced in wings and ruin, which is pink. 7 is green and has a spider - the weaver was introduced in mist and fury, which is green…..
