@itskararichie: Your first solo trip doesn't have to be complicated. But before you book that flight, think beyond the pretty hotel or resort and itinerary. These 5 simple things make that trip all the more pleasant 🤞🏽✈️ 1️⃣ Transportation: How are you getting from the airport to your accommodation and around while your at your destination? 2️⃣ Accommodation: Look at the location, neighborhood, RECENT reviews, transportation access, safety, and check-in process, not just how cute the room looks. I’ve been to some places that had me go through the MOST just to check in. So, know up front. 3️⃣ Connectivity: Know how you'll access maps, transportation apps, reservations, and communication once you land. If going international download WhatsApp your gonna need it 😭 4️⃣ Money: Have more than one way to access your money and keep a backup payment method separate. Bank fees, non working atms etc, just be prepared. 5️⃣ Entry requirements: Check passport validity, visa requirements, entry forms, and any required documentation before you book. And depending on where your going an additional online form or sign up process maybe required. . . Solo travel is so much more enjoyable when you've handled the boring stuff beforehand.
