ouch 😭 it’s probably seb dermatitis. it’s a damaged scalp barrier and and overgrowth of yeast that’s feeding on bacteria and oil. there’s shampoos you can use to control the yeast overgrowth but scratching it continues to damage the scalp, which will continue to cause the yeast and oil overproduction. it’s such a crazy cycle

Hear me out 💯❤️Get a water spray bottle spray down scalp with a lot of water, then get water down shampoo for this flakes use sulfur shampoo put shampoo down each part then get a edge control brush gently brush scalp side to side on the scalp not up and down that will break the hair . Then rinse scalp with wet towel wipe scalp still free of shampoo I would shampoo with water down shampoo twice a day the wipe off contents with wet towel till no more shampoo is visible. Then either oil down scalp or greese scalp if use oil use an oil with mint and tea tree in it . It works wonders on this scalp issue this will keep braids looking clean and not loosen braids doing this method 😁. God bless .

He needs the 2% ketocinazole prescription from the doctor. It’ll clear him right on up…I got the same problem it’s a fungus overload happening there

I deal with this too sulfur 8 shampoo and sulfur 8 grease my scalp doesn’t get inflamed anymore unless I use braid gel that ignites it.

Everyone's scalp condition is different and requires different attention. if it's advise you are seeking, then go see a dermatologist. Otherwise, thank you for the relaxing vid

Wha.. :
I use multiple sbh shampoos for this and conditioners because I heard if u only use one the yeast adapts to it and dont overmoisturize and focus more on the scalp than the actual hair its like 70% scalp and 30% hair
