I think it’s stupid that you think start was actually adopted because His complicated relationship with Howard is one of the most important parts of his story. If Marvel suddenly says, Actually, Howard wasn’t your real dad. it risks making decades of Tony’s character development feel different in a way that isn’t necessary.

When Steve shows up at the end of Endgame, it’s assumed he zipped around and returned the stones and then never got tangled in time travel shenanigans again. All we saw was he had a ring and he didn’t want to talk about it. It could have been decades of time travel for him and returning to Peggy 10 years older but returning the second after he left. It could’ve taken centuries of lived time for him to get to his age because we know there is a healing factor. We don’t know enough yet but I’m not sure I trust that Steve.
