I do this when I want to repeat something a patient says that sounds absolutely ridiculous or something not true about themselves. They tend to giggle or realize the impact of what they said.

The kids looove sitting in my chair. I let them but then it’s their job to run the session. Haha It’s great so see their perspective on the process. And let them teach regulation skills!
