Abolish the Electoral College, implement Ranked Choice Voting, and increase the number of days to vote from 1 to an entire week to allow everyone a chance to get to the polls.

I think more people would vote without the EC because they’d feel like their vote actually matters. As a blue dot in Texas, it can feel very defeating knowing my vote likely wont count (for president at least).

I’m also for ranked choice voting. That way if your original choice didn’t get enough votes your vote would still count for you 2nd choice.

We have one voting system in Australia, automatically enrolled at 18, compulsory to vote, we don’t have to register left or right and we vote for whoever has the best policies.
