I'm a Doctor of Dental Surgery & got profiled at my practice 5 times in 8 years for being there after dark. Last time they demanded I open door after they saw me unlock, walk in, re-lock door & turn off alarm. Even after placing my DL against window of glass door underneath my name, they still demanded I come outside. They stayed in parking lot until almost midnight waiting for me to exit.

At 82 years of age, I completely understand what he is describing. Its the mkst himiliating situion to deal with. You're boiling inside with rage, but if if you react asca white man would in the same situsion, you'll be judged even more harshly. Your humanity doesn't exist in the brains of such people. I wss caught up in such a situatjon at work. My job required me to evaluate the performances of mostly white coworkers. I had been briefed that I was expected to be thorough. I made sure to cross every T, dot every eye, and privide thorugh documentation of my findings and conclusion, and to make approprite recommendations for corrections. I did that abd higher ups were satisfied with my report. My boss, was instructed by his superiors in state government to inplement my recomendations. He called me to his office screaming that I made him loom bad and I would pay. I walked out of his office, and he followed me, screaming in front of the whole office staff. I had to steal myself from turning around and attacking him. I filed a complaint with HR, but they never geld him to task for his conduct, but someone above him must have said something that caused to back off. I had never wanted to kill someone as much as I wanted to do him.

I would Love to work at the Pearly gates to see how God will judge all the racism that has been bestowed on our race. The word says, the path is narrow. I know they have read it too. Do they skip over that ?

I’m in my last year of law school and all you experience is macro-aggressions and if you react, rightfully so, now you’re the difficult and angry black woman. It’s like I shouldn’t have to give a damn about checking them but then I have to think about destroying everything I’ve worked so hard for because who you know is important. It’s utter bullshit.
