After NSS stay in the house for one yr and relax your mind, reflect on all the experiences you gained from school through to your NSS journey, start looking for where you fit in, if you rush to work immediately after NSS you’d end up moving from one job to another, within a yr na you’ve been in more than 5 institutions. This will say something to your hirer when you put them on your Cv that maybe you aren’t serious, you don’t know what you want etc. life after NSS sucks but calm down and don’t be pressured, when looking for job too consider proximity else transport will take all your salary, don’t just accept anything that’s not worth your life too just because you want people to see you working, you are already tired from school straight to NSS so relax yh

NSS fuor, Please look into applying for post graduate opportunities outside Ghana. The country is progressively getting worse and there’s no hope for the future. Apply for your masters in US, Canada or some parts of Europe(Germany has free tuition)

I started working right after NSS I started applying for jobs in September. I finished NSS 1st October and started working 17th October. Someone might also say to rest for some time and gather your thoughts. However I sat and realised that staying at home would make me comfortable and reluctant to work. We become comfortable easily. So, I didn't look for work in my field of education but I looked for one which matches my experience. One thing I have learnt so far is that experience will take you places where certificate is. What I mean by that is, someone might have a master's degree in whatever field you work in but your experience can also take you to that place. Sit down and know what works best for you. What worked for someone might not work for you. In the end, everyone will be fine.
