When my son was in pre-k, he came home one day and said they had to hide from a mystery person that day. They hid in the teacher’s office and they had to be very quiet. I realized then that they were doing an intruder drill. I was so sad that my 4 year old had to even do that. Praying for a safe school year.

No, this is real shit. I was the same way when my daughter hit kindergarten. She is in second grade now and I joined her PTA at her school just so I can be there every day regardless if they don’t need help I’m there cause it is scary. That’s my biggest fear becoming a parent is the schools are dangerous and you us as parents should never think that school should be a safe place. Just like our home is.🥰💯💯
