I started doing red light therapy at my spa like 3-4 times a week, and my HS was gone!! It hasn’t returned!

I was finally diagnosed at the age of 40 after dealing with it since 15-16. Tried everything you mentioned and NOTHING helped! I had flare-ups NONSTOP, under the arms, in the growing and the buttocks areas. My dr finally put me on Humira 6 years ago and now may have a flare up once or twice A YEAR!!!

I was diagnosed with HS last year. I take spironolactone 100mg once daily, doxycycline 100mg when I have flares along with the cream!! its been great!!

I have them in all of the areas you can get them and have had it for 11 years. I’m gonna bring this up to my dr bc I just got a tubal done 6 weeks ago. I was worried about my flare ups bc my birth control helped them so much and now that I don’t need birth control I was nervous on what to do. I currently have two flare ups in the same armpit!

I got sent to a dermatologist because I suspect I have it because I have the tunneling and abscesses in my groin and under my breast. The doctors had me do a 3month trial of minocyline and it helped but I was still having flare ups

thank you Hailey for putting this video outhere. I have a 16 year old step daughter and she is dealing with this now and I had no idea how to help her but take her to a gyno soon. this will be part of the discussion
