3.0 q faster early years can be unrealable and even later years without oil soiloinoid delete, 3.7 q50s are very fun and pretty reliable. I’ve had a G35 motor was super reliable and was fun asf at 120k miles and it had a 3.5, a G37 would be faster and more fun and probobly more reliable if I had to guess

The g will be a lot less of a headache. Qs are way easier to make good power on, well the 3.0t but more things will go wrong and more money will be spent maintaining it. Don’t sleep on the 3.5 ethier(specifically the hr motor 07-09). It can basically hold the same amount of power as a 3.7 and it’s relatively cheaper

Ive had both and prefer the g37 ( fully personal opinion obviously just feels more like a drivers car than a q not a fan of the “ new car feel “ )

Depends if you’re talking about 3.7 vs 3.7 or 3.7 vs 3.0t. The g37 has more aftermarket support for the chassis but the q50, very obviously, looks better in every way. the 3.7s both take mods like an LS, while they weren’t Infiniti’s, my regular mechanic regularly gets in 350z’s and 370z’s and complains about working on them, which share the same motor (and same platform as I think the 35?)
