what we saw was a very flawed test. because of the deep cleats the air would go under the tape and still utilize a lot of the filter.

It can't be tested correctly because it's not in the heat environment of an engine compartment.So your test really don't show anything

now throw some fine dust onto it and see how much passes through that would be ingested by the turbo and end up in the piston rings just like driving in dry dusty environments following behind another vehicle. oiled filters are junk on a turbo diesel.

Um that’s the smallest s&b air cleaner one can buy. My s&b filter is the same size if not bigger than the banks. You’re essentially comparing apples to bananas here. If you want an actual comparison get the s&b that’s the same size as the banks.

s&b bought me a new engine when the dealership denied warranty because of the cold air intake. then they sued Stelantis for their money back. I'll stick with S&B. they stand behind their product.
