An annual national park pass is also accepted. 🚗 Gravel road to trailhead, but high clearance and 4x4 are not required. 🅿️ Large gravel parking lot, but it fills up quickly. 🥾 15.8 miles RT, 2,368’ of elevation. 💧 Multiple small water crossings. 🦟 Be prepared for mosquitoes. ⚠️ Follow all Arapaho National Forest and Indian Peaks Wilderness rules and regulations. 🦮 Dogs must be on leash. (Pack out dog poop) 🏕 To backpack this trail and stay overnight you must get a permit from Recreation.gov when permits are released in the spring. ⛺️ Camping is not permitted within 100’ of lakes, streams, or trails. Please use existing campsites and camp on durable surfaces. Camping near the lakes is only allowed in designated campsites. 🔥 Campfires are prohibited east of the Continental Divide and in the lake zones. Please follow all local fire restrictions and drown your campfire if they are permitted. 🚻 Use portable toilets (WAG Bags) or bury waste in a 6-8” deep hole away from campsites, trails, and at least 200’ from water sources. Pack out toilet paper.
