Can help support a diagnosis but is not required. I was diagnosed using the Brighton scale, joint flexibility and dislocation, ligament tears, and skin elasticty.

I’m about to go for round three with a gynaecology clinic to fight for them to “fix” my prolapse. They get me to lay down with my butt in the air to examine how bad the prolapse is and say “it’s not bad enough to do anything about yet” mf I don’t think organs pushing on the back wall of my vagina so much that I have a protrusion bigger than my fist is ok or normal 😳 putting me in a position where gravity pulls everything back up doesn’t seem like a solution to my problem 🤦♀️

HSD here, Just found out I also have adenomyosis so I've been recommended to have a total hysterectomy. I'm going to spend some time with a pelvic floor physiotherapist before surgery so I can prehab my pelvic floor beforehand because I know I'm going to a miss down there afterwards and honestly it's not a great situation now

I have an appointment this week with my PCP to find out where I need to get referred because we’re pretty sure I have a rectacele, I don’t know if you can answer this, but is that a form of prolapse I’m not entirely sure and it hasn’t really been explained to me very well at all

I didn’t know I had this till my hysterectomy when my doctor discovered my uterus had fallen onto my rectum and fibroids had fused them together and twisted my uterus fully backwards.

I had a posterior rectocele colropphapy surgery in April but my internal medicine doc doesn't think I have HEDS. 13+ hernias and surgeon said that my collagen is like swiss cheese. The surgery was a lot easier than abdominal hernias. I still have sutures 15 weeks out and thin tissue with slow healing. I did pelvic floor therapy before surgery which was extremely helpful. I will be going back because this is total reconstructive surgery.
