My family and I are holding so much space for Lindsay and will continue no matter the outcome. The way she was failed haunts me. As a mother that has dealt with PPD and PPA I want to thank you for sharing this with us and a huge thanks to your husband for being her voice. Your husband is doing amazing work as a mom who has children that have passed and now has fragile mental health I pray after this case that the mental health people take mental health more seriously I’m currently struggling to get a dr who actually cares about mental health and I pray this case brings something good out of it (changing the mental healthcare)

Also…Hear me out…is there a way to petition for a new law that if a partner lives in the same home with someone suffering like this and they are left completely alone, despite knowing how bad they’re struggling and all of it is well documented, that the partner will be automatically formally charged with neglect and involuntary manslaughter if the other parent is found not guilty by reason of insanity, thus providing the burden of proof for negelect….Because social media is a thing…There are community groups, mom groups, various outlets where someone would have volunteered to go over and help with the children…women who’ve been through PPD that would’ve gladly rallied around this family to help however they could because they know how much this struggle is overlooked by the masses. This isn’t about if she did it or if she didn’t, this is about how those babies should be alive and their momma should be enjoying her life with them because she should have gotten the help she quite literally begged for.
