the His Dark Materials BBC/HBO adaptation is great and that first season got me so invested in the story that I went and listened to the full series and a couple years later read the physical books and never stopped reading! those books are very important to me and I'm still very upside the end of The Amber Spyglass 😭

I had the special edition of the Eragon movie at one point. there were interviews with the cast and crew that you could watch and even an interview with Christopher Paolini. I can tell you she was ginger because the director in his interview admitted that he chose her for Arya because he, and i quote, "ive always had a thing for redheads"

DONT FORGET THE RA'ZAK! They made the bird freaks that are actually the child form of the leathrblaka, THEIR MOUNTS AND LITERAL PARENTS, into random bug-swarm-men that get merked in their very first fight, and with THEM gone, Roran's side of the series is gone, Eragon never runs into Sloan, learns the consequences of using someone's True Name to manipulate and control someone either! Or Angela the Witch being a random throwaway seer NPC, instead of a MAJOR side character, also taking away the GLORY that was our BELOVED Solembum!

I hate that they removed Eregon's injury. the dwarves were not dwarves, Roan going to the empire...all of it was just wrong. I was so excited for the movie when I was a teen and it just....ruined book to movies for me for life
