@girlwithacastle: 8 years ago, I had a crazy idea of starting my own business. I had just quit my job, had a couple hundred dollars to my name, and had no education past my GED. I learned about web design in this 500 sqft apartment and used to stay awake until 4am just teaching myself everything I could learn about it. While some people thought I was absolutely delusional, I knew I had to at least try. So I launched my web design business in 2019 on an old beat up MacBook with so many dreams about being able to move out of our apartment into something bigger (I really wanted my own office)! And what shocks me to this day, is that decision of just going for it back then quite literally changed my entire life. That small little business idea has turned into a full-fledged dream that has now allowed me to buy my new home. A home that has manifested solely because I made a decision betting on myself a few years back. So if you need a sign to just start the business or launch that idea, take it. You have no idea where it can take you in life. ❤️
