I hate when they’re all bitchy or caty, I’ve never done cheer but I go to an all girls school, and I do track, and once I won a race and everyone in my class came up and crowded around me to hug me, even my BULLIES, girls can be bitches but they’re also quite supportive when it matters (sounds like a fake story but I promise it happened like 3 months ago 😭😭😭)

I hate when they make the cheerleaders or really any person who's on a sports team dumb. dont they know in most schools you need to have at least a 3.0 to be on these teams and you cant be failing any of your classes or you risk being kicked off the team

I hate when they have the queen bee/cheer captain who is the fakest and most evil girl in the entire school control the cheer squad instead of an actual coach. From what I’ve seen, every school sports team has an adult/teacher supervising or coaching it!!!!

Don’t forget that they all have to be snobby/mean to everyone who isn’t on the cheer team or a football player 😭 I have met plenty of kind cheerleaders who act nothing like that

I was an all star cheerleader when Bring It On came out. Our gym owner arranged for all of teams from our gym, 5 year olds to 18 year olds, to go to the theater to watch it together in our warmups. I was 16.

Me too girl. I’m in cheer and dance. The stereotype is so exhausting and all the girls on my team are the nicest and most genuine ppl I’ve ever met. Also I hate it when ppl say it’s “not a sport”. Like ya I wanna see you try the stunts, tumbling, etc that we do and practice for months…

I hate how oversexualized they are too. All the girls on my school’s cheer team were either late bloomers or heavy set. They looked like normal kids!!! Always thought it was weird
