This is insane to me because i was young when la la land was nominated for the oscar and hadn’t known anything about moonlight, all i heard was stuff about how La La land was robbed etc. Now i’m older and have watched Moonlight it’s easily so meaningful and heavy there’s no way it shouldn’t have won but it’s interesting how no one around me thought the same when this was happening
