Idk…I just finished my internship as an MSW at a crisis center working with various people in a crisis. Lots of mental health issues such as Bipolar, schizoeffective, schizophrenia and BPD. Most of the time they said they were suicidal and wanted to harm themselves only not others. I’m not saying it’s impossible but I used to be so scared working with this population but remembered that they mostly want to harm themselves when going through a psychotic episode. That’s why it’s hard for me to really comprehend her killing all 3 of her kids…

Is that window of time sufficient to complete every action described? It seems difficult to believe that such a sequence of events could be accomplished so quickly, especially considering the challenges of managing young children. Could there have been enough time for the events involving the three children to occur in such rapid succession? Following those events, the sequence ends with an attempted self-harm incident and a fall from a window. Completing all of this within forty-five minutes presents a significant chronological challenge.

Thank you for this! I don’t know much about psychosis but it seems like a stretch that someone could go from ensuring their child has medicine to help them feel better and ordering her family dinner to committing such heinous acts in UNDER AN HOUR! Something does not add up…
