these are all so fair. not every artist is for every tattoo wish, and that's fine! I love fine line but not everyone can do it well enough to offer that to clients (i should have listened when a tattoo artist said a dragonfly tattoo wouldn't heal well - he had no fine line experience and my impulsive ass just wanted the tattoo that day - i will be getting it removed and redone eventually)

When I went in for memorial tattoo, I wanted to do a fingerprint. I didn’t realize that getting it small would be an issue so we talked about it and we are skilled the size and came up with the design and my artist said am I allowed to kind of play with it a little bit and I said absolutely and when I went in it was completely different from what I expected, but it was beautiful and then she also informed me that this wouldn’t be so solid she wants to do it in a shading and I was worried that it would fade or it wouldn’t be dark enough or I would need to get it touched up. I didn’t have to do that. It hasn’t faded it healed beautifully. It looks just as good today as it did when I got it three years ago.

My foot tattoos are 100% fading every time I get them BUT I always get them redone cause I knew this was gunna be an issue
