Omg I do that with my picky kid too. If I have her help me pick stuff at the store or help me prepare stuff at home she is more willing to eat 😭😭👏👏

I was unable to eat for several months before being diagnosed with cancer, I lost 40lbs and couldn’t walk. My brother came to Florida to drive me to our father’s in Ohio. Midway during the drive I said I was hungry for refried beans. My brother is not one to entertain special requests but he went out of his way to immediately find me beans in the middle of Virginia because he knew there was a small window I’d be able to eat. Thank you for being a gold brother through his challenges. ❤️

Im in school for occupation therapy, and next term we get into mental health. You’ve really opened my eyes as to what OT can look like in the mental health field (which is very underrepresented). I have DID (formerly multiple personality disorder) and finding humor and joy in cooking has been the only thing getting me back into it. the first thing I did when getting back into the kitchen was pretzels, and really the only reason I kept going with it is because instead of normal pretzel shapes, I made spring themed ones.
