LOVED him in the bear. The show is so underrated and misunderstood. Coming from someone with insane family trauma and also working in the food service industry it’s truly extraordinary

As beautiful of a breakdown as this is, all I can think about is Sizzling Fajitas being the most complete depiction of what he’s talking about

It’s a beautiful irony that the art form that affects the most senses is one that’s the most fleeting. Movies & TV will be fleeting in the grand scheme of humanity, but food is gone just about as quickly as it’s made if not more quickly.

he is so thoughtful and eloquent. and the fact that he always worries that he isn't going to upset anyone. he should definitely be the next #James Bond. such a kind hearted and fun person.

He was great in the show until they started shoe horning him and some of the other characters into the later episodes.

Thats why I began my culinary education at a young age. There’s nothing like creating a dish for someone who’s had a terrible day and when they take that first bite you can see the weight lift off of them, even if it’s just for 20 minutes.

Love this breakdown about cooking so much 🥹😭 cooking for someone is an act of love. It’s cultural, political, and vital for life here on earth.

I’ve told staff that restaurants uniquely service all 5 senses. Obviously there is sight, taste, smell and touch but FOH uniquely gets to deliver on what sounds good. If you can achieve all 5, I believe you can be successful.
