@bfgllc: We can convince ourselves that our choices are right. We can explain them, defend them, and even believe our intentions are good. But Proverbs reminds us that GOD sees deeper than we do. HE examines our motives. Peter thought he knew what he would do. GOD knew differently. And we can fall into the same trap. Sometimes the question isn’t, “Does this seem right to me?” The question is, “Is this right before GOD?” That’s why we need to commit our plans, decisions, and actions to the LORD instead of depending only on our own judgment.
