I think I’m going to plant zinnias down my side street I live on a corner and have woods down one of the sides instead of having to mow that grass. I might just throw down seeds and see what grows and put a little sign that it’s free for people to cut from.

Last year, my neighbor’s husband asked me what the tall colorful flowers were in our backyard. His wife loved looking at them and seeing all the hummingbirds they attracted. At the end of the season and I tried it out a handful of heads and gave them the seeds. This year we both have colorful gardens! ✨Love some zinnias. This is my first year of dahlias and I’m OBSESSED 😍

I live near a house where a woman sits a little table out with these flowers in tiny vases and asks that you bring the vase back after you're done with it and people do and she refills them

Generally most zinnia types do well with trimming and cutting, urges them to grow more stems and blooms. So as the community comes to collect they are unintentionally taking care of the flowers and helping them thrive as well! 🥰
