the burner phone is in the closet or up on a shelf on the other side of that wall. it's vibrating & the sound is traveling. He wouldnt put the phone somewhere he doesnt have quick access to it, and he needs a place he can come up with a plausible explanation of why hes there (hard to explain why hes reaching into the attic were he to get caught). ~ ex-wife of a pro-level cheater.
