@bintalbedu: Clarification: I’m not saying that scholarly disagreement or refutation is inherently wrong. Islamic scholarship has a long tradition of rigorous debate, criticism, and responding to theological and methodological errors. My point is that there is a difference between engaging in those discussions with actual knowledge and turning refutations into the center of your religious identity. You should understand the evidence, the principles behind the disagreement, and the positions being discussed before confidently condemning people online.
