Try different bottles, different nipples. It took a while for us to find one my baby would take.

Breastfeeding is more than just a food source. It’s a comfort through skin to skin. He doesn’t get that with a plastic bottle. He’s done nothing wrong nor is he being difficult. This isn’t unique. My son was breastfed and wouldn’t take a pacifier or bottle he gagged on them. Skin will always be superior.

there's a trick that the nurses showed me with the bottle you put it in their mouth and lift up so it touches the roof of their mouths and they will naturally start to suck. worked with my son. he is 100% bottle fed. we also use a tommy tippee which is the most boob like

These comments are not it. Babies are not manipulative, they don't learn behaviors like that at such a young age. His mama is his food, he knows it and he loves her. Mama, I breastfed all mine after my first (and second) refused bottles. It's hard but all that bonding and time is something you won't get back. You're doing the right thing. ❤️
