@btp.plumbing: How the fuck are we not marching on the streets? How often do you look at your pay packet, your business account, or your tax bill and think… “Fuck. Imagine if I got to keep that money.” Imagine what you could do with it. Bills paid a little easier. A better week for the family. A bit more breathing room. Maybe even a few dollars left over at the end of the month. But instead, more and more gets taken, while the cost of living keeps climbing and ordinary Aussies are expected to just cop it on the chin. And I reckon this is where our laid-back Aussie attitude has gone too far. We’re happy to have a laugh, have a beer, complain about the government, then get back to work on Monday and cop it all over again. But when is enough enough? I’m not saying I have all the answers. I’m saying I’ve had a gutful of watching hardworking Australians get squeezed from every direction while being told to just keep tightening our belts. When are we going to say, enough is enough? Because if you’ve ever looked at your pay packet, your business account, or your tax bill and thought, “Imagine what I could do if I could actually keep more of what I earn,”… I reckon we need to start having a serious conversation about it.
