I used to take orders on the phone for a super busy seafood restaurant when i was 19-20 . My rule i made for myself was : it doesnt matter what they order, if you ask at the end to confirm and they dont confirm back after i mention the price, i would never put the order thru. I always needed verbal confirmation after saying the price total along w each item. Taking phone orders is gwnuinely the most difficult job i ever done in my life, and im now an engineer.
