I lived in University gardens off flamingo and Twain for 4 yrs, it was my first apartment. Just moved out the area 4 months ago, my advice to you is 1. Carry 2. Get multiple anti break in devices like for ur doors and windows and 3. Get a dog if ur a woman living alone lol. 4. Buy a portable washer dryer combo bc the laundromats are genuinely dangerous in the area and expensive. So sorry to hear your experience! Don’t resign when lease time comes around

If you can survive living on Maryland, you can survive anywhere in Las Vegas. I grew up on Twain and Swenson and went to Orr which is right behind the Boulevard Mall. Bad things all around that area but going to UNLV helped me because it was a different environment that I was exposed to.
