@phyowaithein06: Gas Detector နဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး IMO က မကြာသေးခင်က အရေးကြီးတဲ့ update ထုတ်ထားပါတယ်။ အဓိကက IMO Resolution MSC.581(110) – Revised Recommendations for Entering Enclosed Spaces Aboard Ships ဖြစ်ပြီး 27 June 2025 မှာ MSC 110 က adopt လုပ်ထားတာပါ။ 🚨 Gas Detector အတွက် အရေးကြီးဆုံးပြောင်းလဲချက် အရင်က enclosed-space atmosphere testing အတွက် အဓိက O₂ + Flammable gas + H₂S + CO စတဲ့ 4-gas configuration ကို အသုံးများပါတယ်။ အခု MSC.581(110) အရတော့ enclosed space ဝင်တဲ့အခါ detector က risk assessment အပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး— O₂ – Oxygen CO₂ – Carbon Dioxide Flammable gases/vapours – LEL Toxic gases – ဥပမာ CO Risk assessment က သတ်မှတ်တဲ့ အခြား toxic gases/vapours တွေကို စောင့်ကြည့်နိုင်ရပါမယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် CO₂ ကို အခု recommendation ထဲမှာ တိတိကျကျ ထည့်သွင်းထားတာ က အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ Detector က oxygen-deficient atmosphere ထဲမှာတောင် CO₂ ကို မှန်မှန်ကန်ကန် တိုင်းနိုင်ရမယ် လို့ သတ်မှတ်ထားပါတယ်။ 📟 Detector အရေအတွက် MSC.581(110) Section 7.3 အရ— All ships → အနည်းဆုံး gas detection equipment 2 sets ပြီးတော့ hazardous vapour ထုတ်နိုင်တဲ့ cargo တွေ သယ်ပြီး cargo space ထဲ regular cleaning/inspection ဝင်ရတဲ့ ship ဆိုရင်— အပို 2 sets ထပ်ရှိသင့်ပါတယ်။ ဆိုလိုတာက အဲဒီလို bulk carrier/tanker တွေအတွက် စုစုပေါင်း 4 sets ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ 📊 Enclosed Space ဝင်မယ့်အခါ Target Reading Gas Recommended reading O₂ 20.9% CO₂ < 0.5% = < 5,000 ppm Flammable gas < 1% LFL Toxic gas/vapour < 50% OEL ဒီ readings တွေက risk assessment ပြီးတဲ့နောက် steady reading ရရှိရမယ့် values တွေဖြစ်ပါတယ် ⚠️ Personal Gas Detector လည်း အရေးကြီးတယ် Enclosed space ထဲ ဝင်မယ့်သူတွေကို calibrated & tested personal gas detector ပေးထားသင့်ပြီး detector က— O₂ + CO₂ + Flammable gas/vapour + Toxic gases (including CO) + Risk assessment မှာ သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ အခြား gases တွေကို monitor လုပ်နိုင်ရမယ်လို့ Section 8.2 မှာ ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။ ⚓ Bulk Carrier အတွက်ဆိုရင် ship မှာ coal, clinker, pig iron, grain/maize, steel cargo စတာတွေ သယ်ရင် cargo အလိုက် gas hazard မတူနိုင်လို့ “4-gas detector တစ်မျိုးတည်းရှိရုံနဲ့ အမြဲလုံလောက်တယ်” လို့ မယူဆသင့်တော့ဘူး။ အထူးသဖြင့် CO₂ measurement ပါတဲ့ detector နဲ့ cargo-specific risk assessment ကို ထည့်စဉ်းစားရပါမယ်။ IMO က detector ရွေးတဲ့အခါ shipper's declaration, SDS, IMDG Code, IMSBC Code, IBC/IGC Code စတဲ့ cargo information တွေကို အခြေခံဖို့ ပြောထားပါတယ်။ တစ်ချက်တော့ သတိထားပါ — MSC.581(110) က SOLAS amendment အသစ်တစ်ခုလို mandatory regulation မဟုတ်ဘဲ “Revised Recommendations” ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ IMO က Governments/shipowners/operators တွေကို apply လုပ်ဖို့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်ထားတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ #creatorsearchinsights #gasdetector #knowledgesharing #seaman #seafarer
