Yeahhhhhh weird vibes for sure. Personally I don’t think young au pairs are a good idea, especially with babies. I became an au pair when I was already 25-6 and just being around other younger girls was different, definitely didn’t have the professionalism that I always tried to cultivate. But to be fair by what you shared it didn’t sound to me that she liked your husband, sounds like she was just ass.

As a successful healthy ex Au pair, I don’t think people are on the Au pairs side, I think it’s normal and ok to wanna know her side. I think you did the right choice, but host families often focus too much on the au pairs personal life and that’s literally none of your business, judging her cause she has a lot of heels? Like wtf 😂 she’s young it’s ok if she wants to wear them to clubs or daily life. Again, none of your business.
