@the.muslim.maverick: For most of my life, I was certain I had the truth. Then life forced me to question everything I thought I knew — my beliefs, my relationships, my identity, and ultimately, myself. It was painful. I lost people. I lost a community. But somewhere in the process, I found something I had been searching for all along: peace, clarity and a deeper connection with God. This is the story of how questioning everything changed me. If you're struggling with questions you're afraid to ask, you're not alone. ❤️ #story #Love #truth #faith #growth

I think I’ve gone through a somewhat similar journey, from being more on the radical side of Islam to eventually questioning everything. Right now, I’d say I’m more of an agnostic.

Aini's Anecdotes :
I think your last image shows the difference between religion and spirituality. Religion is a guide, but following it blindly won't open the heart for a connection with Allah.

Alhamdulliah brother it's time of awakening alot of us on this journey... We all felt this way because we wer lied to most part of our life's.. Believed and didnot question???? And it's also painful to see some of our loved ones still cannot understand the truth. May Allahh guide them and not keep their hearts sealed to the truth..

I love this. I think you have voiced what many people may feel frightened to talk about through fear of judgement and repercussions. Thats not what Islam is for me either. I ask many questions myself. Your posts will normalise those feelings of confusion for many. 👌

Thank you so much for this post brother! Have you at one point questioned the existence of God?

Thank you for your honesty and willingness to admit you could be wrong! I seen all religions that the more rigid people are about their faith, the more judgemental they are of others. I’m trying to find the right balance between believing and still being myself (if that makes sense?)
