Please think carefully about your future before choosing nursing as a career. There may be limited employment opportunities in nursing in the coming years because the number of private nursing colleges is increasing rapidly across the country. Many of these colleges do not have their own affiliated tertiary-care hospitals to provide proper clinical training and internship opportunities. Students spend lakhs of rupees to complete a four-year BSN degree, yet some colleges do not provide proper internships, even unpaid. After completing their degree and internship, fresh graduates still struggle to find suitable jobs. Government jobs are extremely difficult to obtain, while opportunities in private hospitals are also limited. Therefore, before investing more time and money in nursing, students should carefully consider the current job market and future opportunities. Do not waste several years in a field without first understanding the employment situation and planning for your future.
