AND - Why did you suggest the boy speak to her about her scewaming, but didnt encourage your daughter to stand up for herself and - kindly - ask him to stop too?? You are both wrong. You should have talked to the mom first. Also, why was it ok for your daughter to scream. If you had talked to my son we would have had a discussion, bc don't talk to kids unless necessary. She was screaming first it seems like, and he was telling her to stop. We should raise boys to also stick up for themselves, bc abuse has no real gender.

I’m a mum to two boys and that mother is teaching her son it’s okay to verbally abuse girls/people. That’s deplorable. Good on you for sticking up for your daughter, you should be so proud of yourself for setting such a good example for your daughter xx

If my child was doing something like that at a park and I didn’t see but another mom did, I would be happy for that mom to step in and correct it respectfully. We should all be on the same side here - trying to raise good humans.
