@halahussein_: i’ve always struggled with the idea of death. it’s something i’ve feared for as long as i can remember, and honestly, i think a big part of that fear came from not really understanding what happens after it. the more i started learning about death, the barzakh, the souls, the mercy of allah, and what awaits the believer, the more my perspective began to change. i realized that death isn’t the end of our existence. it’s a transition from one life to another. and somehow, knowing that made something that once felt so frightening feel a little less scary. of course, i still fear death. i think that’s part of being human. but now, instead of only thinking about death as losing everything i know and love, i think about it as returning to allah and moving towards the real life that we were created for. learning these things didn’t make me stop being afraid, but it eased my heart in a way i didn’t expect. it reminded me that the same allah who has taken care of me throughout my entire life will be the one i return to. and maybe that’s what i needed to understand all along. 🤍 may allah make us among those who meet him with peaceful hearts, and may he make our best days the day we meet him.
