My son is in the military, but I taught him from day one that, as an American citizen going into the military, you are there to protect America and American citizens. You are a human being with a heart of gold that fears God. If you know that our country is going to use you in a war that is not an American war, and not a war against someone who truly wants to harm our country, then refuse service, even if you end up in jail. Being in the military doesn't mean you are a slave and have to obey the rules when the leaders are wrong.
